Thanks for the Forks!

This morning when I walked out the door to go to church, I was met by several hundred white plastic forks sticking up out of my yard. I would later find the other few hundred out front. When we got home from church Sunday night, it was time to take grocery bags out and pick them all up and Ella was begging to join in. She then told me that she’d been looking forward to it all day and had thought about it all afternoon. As we were picking them up, she kept repeating, “Dad, this is so much fun! It’s just like finding Easter Eggs!”

So I want to echo Joseph’s words from Genesis, “you meant it unto me for evil, but God meant it for good!” The forks were like Easter Eggs to a six-year-old mind. Guess the yolk’s on you guys! Thanks for the forks. :-)
