But the Bible is the product of the mind of God. So Jesus was approving of the comments Paul made in Romans 13 concerning the role of government to wield a "sword" in civil matters. The execution of a violent criminal is a matter of civil justice. The survival of the unborn is a matter of civil rights. Resorting to the capital punishment issue is really a distraction from all of the absurdities concerning abortion. You say with certainty, "that's what Jesus believed."
