Meet Little Baby Boy Cox

Yesterday, we found out that our baby is going to be a boy. You can see that pointed out in the ultrasound if you choose to watch it. You’ll also see that he’s moving like crazy and I could swear I saw his lips mutter, “Hi Dad!” but I’m not an expert or anything…

The first minute or two is really the best part, but the whole thing is spectacular in that it shows God’s handiwork in a womb. There’s life in my wife’s belly – a totally unique and individual little man is growing up, and he’s already 11 ounces!

    Brandon,

Congratulations! It’s almost surreal listening to those sonograms. When we saw my son’s first sonogram I could not really tell what I was looking at, but the sound of his heart beating moved me to my very core.

Six and a half years later and I can’t believe that time has flown by so fast. I can only imagine what God’s love is like for us when I compare it to my love for my son.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

    Hey Brandon!

Congrats! What a cool video too! And, I’m with you – no matter what anyone else says – I think the little guy said “Hi Dad” too!

Now about a name, I’m thinking ‘Rus’ has a nice ring to it. LOL!

    Again, congrats!

Rus, if you agree, then it happened!! Hmm… “Rus.” I kind had a more biblical direction in mind… like Maherhalershazbaz!

    Brandon,
Congratulations! I think I cried at *every* sonogram…. and I’ve had 4 kids, so you can imagine the tear inventory. Seeing and hearing the baby was always so momentous. Love the tenderness I already see in your post… sons are differently wonderful than daughters, but most definitely wonderful :)
