There are four elements necessary for a church planting movement to succeed: assessment of potential planters, ongoing training, partnership with existing churches, and personal coaching. Bobby Minor has a unique idea for creating a truly mutual partnership between his church plant and existing leaders, while also providing coaching from some of the nation’s leading church leadership thinkers.
Bobby is planting Mosaic Church in Durham, North Carolina, a new campus of Mosaic Little Rock, a church that serves as a model to all of us. Bobby describes Mosaic this way:
Founded in 2001 by Mark and Linda DeYmaz, Mosaic is a multi-ethnic and economically diverse church truly focused on the needs of others, and on reviving faith in those disconnected from individuals who care.
Bobby has recruited a multitude of personalities who have much wisdom to pour into those who join Bobby’s network, including Tony Morgan, Mark DeYmaz, Will Mancini, Larry Osborne, Mac Lake, and others. Each speaker will participate in a coaching call with Bobby.

It’s a pretty great concept in terms of moving away from traditional funding models and creating instead a truly mutual partnership between those who invest in the new plant and the planter, who has much to share.
