I have recently joined the ranks of the Fuel Network, which is somewhat of a collection of awesome online magazines about a variety of creative subjects. I’m the Editor of Fuel Your Blogging, a magazine about… blogging, of course.

All of the editors worked simultaneously on “best of 2009″ posts and they all launched together. So if you’re into photography, blogging, coding, design, etc. this is an awesome resource. So, go check out the Best of 2009 at Fuel.

You might be familiar with “URL shortners” such as bit.ly or su.pr. These are tools which take a long url (internet link) and shorten it so you can easily share it on social networks, websites, etc. Well, ref.ly is a shortener of a different sort. Instead of shortening web references, it shortens Bible references. It’s a service of Logos Bible Software and has even gotten a very positive review from Mashable. I’m a huge advocate of using WordPress for ministry. To put it simply, Pastors can’t go wrong blogging with WordPress and church secretaries will find it super easy to change the content of a church web site powered by WordPress. Now and then, someone releases a very cool and totally free theme (design you can plug right in) for WordPress and I like to pass them along.

It looks awesome, has a great layout, a theme switcher on the left hand side, a featured article block at the top, and a nice barnwood background to boot! I like this one and I highly recommend it!
