Sometimes, we speak Christianese, and people outside the faith may have difficulty understanding it. Paul Washer uses a few tough phrases in this clip, such as “city of refuge” (a place where accused criminals could go for asylum in the Old Testament), but it’s overall an excellent way to explain and invite people to salvation…

"Repentance is simply giving up." Total dependence… excellent point.

I started a series about this too because I feel the same way. We say 'saved' or 'Christian" all the time but don't really know what it means. Always a good idea to clarify this stuff… it's what we're supposed to be sharing after all.

I agree, great to clarify definitions. So often disagreements are really misunderstanding.
